These Terms govern use of the Bodycade mobile application, website and related services. A parent or guardian should review them before allowing a child to play.

1. Accepting these terms

By downloading, accessing or using Bodycade, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If the player is under the age of legal majority, a parent or legal guardian must accept these Terms on the player’s behalf and is responsible for the child’s use of Bodycade. Do not use Bodycade if you do not agree.

2. The Bodycade service

Bodycade is an entertainment game that uses a compatible device’s camera to translate physical movements into game actions. Features, supported devices, games, availability and technical requirements may change as the service is maintained and improved.

Bodycade is not a medical device, health service, exercise prescription or substitute for professional medical advice. We do not promise any particular fitness, developmental or health result.

3. Permission to use Bodycade

Subject to these Terms and applicable app-store rules, Bodycade grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable license to install and use the app on devices you own or control for non-commercial family entertainment.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, reverse engineer, attempt to extract source code, bypass security or payment controls, interfere with the service, or use Bodycade to violate another person’s rights or applicable law, except where a restriction is prohibited by law.

4. Safe play

A responsible adult should supervise children and confirm that the play area is suitable.
Use a clear, stable, well-lit indoor space away from furniture, stairs, traffic, pets, fragile objects and other hazards.
Place the device securely and follow all on-screen setup, distance, movement and break instructions.
Wear appropriate clothing and footwear and avoid movements that exceed the player’s ability.
Stop immediately if a player experiences pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, loss of balance or other discomfort.
Consult a qualified healthcare professional before play if the player has a medical condition, injury or other concern about physical activity.

You are responsible for evaluating the play environment and deciding whether a player can participate safely. Never use Bodycade where movement or attention to the screen could endanger the player or another person.

5. Camera and device permissions

Camera access is required for motion-controlled gameplay. You control permission through the device’s settings and may withdraw it at any time, although affected features will stop working. Use of camera input is described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Accounts and children

The core Bodycade experience currently does not require a child account. A child may not submit personal information, contact support, make a purchase or access an external link without the involvement of a parent or guardian. Parent-only areas, purchases and external links may be protected by an adult action or parental gate.

7. Purchases and subscriptions

If Bodycade offers paid apps, features or subscriptions, the price, billing period, trial terms, included benefits and renewal conditions will be shown before purchase. Digital purchases made in the iOS app are processed through Apple’s in-app purchase system; purchases made in the Google Play app are processed through Google Play Billing, except where another method is expressly permitted by applicable store rules.

Subscriptions automatically renew until canceled unless the purchase screen says otherwise. Manage or cancel a subscription in the relevant Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are handled under the applicable store’s rules and mandatory consumer law. A parent or guardian is responsible for purchase controls on the device and for purchases they authorize.

8. Intellectual property

Bodycade and its licensors own the app, website, characters, artwork, animations, games, software, sounds, branding and other original content, including all associated intellectual-property rights. These Terms grant only the limited right to use the service and do not transfer ownership.

If you voluntarily provide feedback, you allow Bodycade to use it without restriction or compensation, provided we do not publicly identify you or a child without permission.

9. Third-party services and app stores

Your device, internet connection and app-store account are provided by third parties and are subject to their terms. You must comply with applicable third-party agreements when using Bodycade. Bodycade is responsible for the app and its support; Apple and Google are not responsible for providing Bodycade support.

For apps downloaded from Apple, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies in addition to these Terms unless a valid custom license agreement is presented through the App Store. These Terms are between you and Bodycade, not Apple. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of the applicable license terms and may enforce them as permitted by those terms.

10. Updates, availability and termination

We may update, add, remove, suspend or discontinue features to improve safety, security, performance or the service. Some updates may be required for continued use. We may restrict or terminate access if these Terms are materially violated, the service is misused, or continued access presents legal, safety or security risk.

You may stop using Bodycade at any time by uninstalling the app. Uninstalling does not automatically cancel a subscription or delete information previously provided to us; see Sections 7 and the Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bodycade is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, compatible with every device or suitable for every player. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bodycade and its service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, loss of data or loss of profits arising from use of the service. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited, including liability arising from fraud, willful misconduct or other non-excludable obligations.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to Bodycade, app-store requirements or applicable law. We will post the revised Terms with a new effective date and provide additional notice where required. Continued use after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
